Welcome to Five and Dive, a twice-weekly podcast from Baseball Prospectus. We’re named Five and Dive in honor of all the pitchers out there who can’t or won’t go beyond five innings. We respect their laziness or lack of ability. Each episode we will cover five topics of interest that come from either recent events, articles we’ve written, articles we’ve thought about writing but thought “too much research,” and whatever else is on our minds. Craig Goldstein, Editor-in-Chief of Baseball Prospectus hosts alongside editor and author Patrick Dubuque.
