The State of the System: Like most of the Oakland organization, from ownership down through the lower levels of the minor leagues, there are a lot of warts. The farm system is split between high-ceiling prospects with debilitating flaws and high-floor prospects without the top-end potential to make championship impacts. This leaves Oakland with a bottom-tier system again entering 2024.
