Luis Moreno, RHP, New York Mets (LIDOM Estrellas Orientales): 1⅔ IP, 0 ER, 0 H, 2 BB, 0 K.
Moreno put together a really nice year between Low-A and High-A as a 23-year-old in 2022, but ran into a bit more resistance at Double-A in 2023 (4.98 ERA, about a strikeout per inning, too many walks). It’s still an interesting sinker/slider combo, and he may reveal himself as a relief option sooner rather than later.
