  • Mets 2B Daniel Murphy went 4-for-5 with four RBI and three runs scored in a win over the Twins.
  • Padres RP Huston Street took a loss after giving up two homers in the ninth against the Rockies.

  • Rockies 1B Todd Helton went 3-for-4 with an RBI double against the Padres.

  • Diamondbacks SP Patrick Corbin pitched three-hit ball for six innings and combined with three relievers on a shutout of the Dodgers.

  • Phillies SP John Lannan pitched well again in a no-decision against the Marlins, surrendering just one run on three hits over his six innings of work.

  • Marlins 3B Placido Polanco went 2-for-4 and plated the Marlins' lone run in a loss to the Phillies.

  • Marlins SP Ricky Nolasco pitched a solid ballgame in a no-decision against the Phillies, allowing just one run on seven hits over his six innings of work.

  • OF Andrew McCutchen blasted a solo homer in the seventh inning, leading the Pirates to a 6-5 victory over the Reds.

  • Pirates RP Jason Grilli was a bit shaky, but he managed to preserve a one-run lead against the Reds and notched his fourth save of the season.

  • Braves SP Julio Teheran yielded four runs in six innings in a no-decision against the Nationals.

  • SS Starlin Castro homered off Matt Cain and delivered a game-winning double off Sergio Romo in the bottom of the ninth as the Cubs beat the Giants 4-3.

  • SP Carlos Villanueva was denied a win by the Cubs bullpen after shutting out the Giants for 7 1/3 innings.

  • Cubs RP Kyuji Fujikawa suffered a blown save, only to end up with a win, after giving up three runs in the ninth against the Giants.

  • A's 3B Josh Donaldson hit a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 12th to give the A's a 4-3 win over the Tigers.
  • Tigers SP Max Scherzer fanned 11 while allowing two runs in six innings against the A's.

  • Tigers 1B Prince Fielder went 4-for-5 with a three-run homer and a double against the A's.

  • SP Bud Norris blanked the Angels for seven innings in the Astros' 5-0 victory.

  • Angels SP Tommy Hanson surrendered five runs in five innings in a loss to the Astros.

  • Astros OF Justin Maxwell homered, doubled and walked against the Angels.

  • Angels OF Peter Bourjos went hitless in the leadoff spot, finishing 0-for-3 with a HBP in the loss to the Astros.

  • Pirates general manager Neal Huntington said Friday that SP Wandy Rodriguez (hamstring) is still questionable to start Sunday against the Reds.

  • Marlins OF Giancarlo Stanton (shoulder) will not play on Saturday.

  • Dodgers SP Zack Greinke will undergo surgery on his left collarbone Saturday and is expected to miss eight weeks.
  • Brewers 1B Alex Gonzalez was diagnosed with a left hand contusion after being hit by a pitch during Friday's game.
