The trots have been away a little too long, so let's get right down to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Pablo Sandoval, San Francisco Giants – 23.96 seconds [video]
The Panda makes it to the Home Run of the Day not for his first-inning home run but for his sixth-inning triple. The triple gave Sandoval the cycle in his first four at-bats, only the second player to achieve the feat all year. Everyone loves a big guy hustling into third, and Panda's triple was no different. His time was a respectable 12.84 seconds. By way of comparison, Bengie Molina took 14.67 seconds in his "big guy" cycle.

Pittsburgh pitcher Ross Ohlendorf hit the first home run of his career Thursday night, taking 22.59 seconds to complete his quite-unexpected trot.

Slowest Trot: Billy Butler, Kansas City Royals – 24.41 seconds [video]
Not much of a slow trot, but it's enough to give Butler the slowest trot of the day. It's almost a shame, as this was one Butler's quicker trots of the year. Sandoval's tater trot was the next slowest of the day at 23.96 seconds, just barely ahead of Brandon Phillips, Delmon Young, and Carlos Pena.

Quickest Trot: Chris Heisey, Cincinnati Reds – 18.79 seconds [video]
Chris Heisey is a fast man even when he's slow.
