I was at Bundy's start last night. I'm no scout, but it was very impressive. He sat at 94-96 and touched 98. As I recall, two of his walks were on curveballs that seemed to fool the umpire. They looked like strikes to me, but they broke so much, who knows? He made Nick Castellanos look foolish: three strikeouts and he couldn't even foul anything off until the third AB.

I was at Joe Ross' start last night ... and it felt opposite to how cjhgarmon describe's Bundy's start (comment above) ... sure the results were very good ... but the most common strike was a foul ball ... so I just didn't get a feeling of "overpowering" ... which is what I was hoping for when I heard he was starting the game ... the scoreboard radar readings were consistently 91-93 and I saw 94/95 a couple of times, and none of the other pitchers in the game had readings that high ...

If Dan Uggla can play second, I think the Mets can get by with Flores at the keystone. Its not like they have a gold glover playing there now and Flores can certainly hit for more power than Daniel Murphy.

Assuming Hamilton doesn't re-sign, think the Rangers will give Martin the first chance to grab the CF job?
