  • Yankees SS Derek Jeter went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored.
  • Yankees SP Phil Hughes was limited to just 1 1/3 innings due to a rain delay.
  • White Sox SP Jose Quintana threw just one inning due to a two-hour rain delay.
  • White Sox 1B Paul Konerko launched a solo homer.

  • Tigers SP Doug Fister fired seven scoreless innings while allowing just four hits.
  • Tigers RP Jose Veras earned the save.

  • Cubs SP Scott Baker (elbow) allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings Monday in his final rehab start with Low-A Kane County.
  • Cardinals C Yadier Molina was pulled from Monday's game against the Reds due to left wrist soreness.
  • Giants RP Jeremy Affeldt (groin) is scheduled to throw a simulated inning on Tuesday afternoon.
  • Giants SP Matt Cain (forearm) threw a 90-pitch bullpen session on Monday and reported feeling fine.
  • Mets SP Jon Niese (calf) expects to make his next start.
  • Brewers RP Tom Gorzelanny left Monday's game against the Pirates due to left shoulder tightness.
  • Rockies SP Tyler Chatwood (thumb) may miss his next scheduled start Saturday against the Padres.
  • Marlins SP Henderson Alvarez left Monday's start against the Cubs after six innings due to right hamstring tightness.
  • Nationals OF Bryce Harper has been getting treatment for a hip injury recently.
