  • Cardinals SP Lance Lynn improved to 6-1 after allowing three runs and four hits in seven innings.
  • Cardinals OF Matt Holliday went 2-for-4 and hit a two-run homer.
  • Mets 2B Daniel Murphy went 3-for-4 with a two-run double.
  • Mets C John Buck went a seventh straight game without an RBI, finishing 0-for-3 with three strikeouts and a walk.

  • Nationals 3B Ryan Zimmerman knocked in three while 1B Adam LaRoche knocked in two.
(22-16) Braves – 10 at 1 – Diamondbacks (21-18)
  • In his return to Arizona, Braves OF Justin Upton launched his MLB-leading 13th homer while driving in two.
  • Diamondbacks SP Wade Miley wore down in the desert, surrendering seven runs in the fifth and sixth innings.
  • Braves SP Mike Minor picked up the win giving up just one run over 6.2 innings.
  • Braves got homers from 3B Chris Johnson and C Brian McCann.
  • Arizona 1B Paul Goldschmidt nailed his 10th homer of the year while driving in his 31 run, which is tied for the National League lead.

American League:

  • Nationals OF Jayson Werth (hamstring) is expected to begin a rehab assignment with High-A Potomac later this week.
  • Pirates SP Jeff Karstens (shoulder) is slated to throw 50 pitches over three innings in a rehab start with High-A Bradenton on Monday.

  • Astros 2B Jose Altuve (jaw) told Astros manager Bo Porter that he would be ready to play on Tuesday.
  • Athletics OF Chris Young felt some soreness in his left quad during an extended spring training game and is unlikely to be activated on Wednesday as originally hoped
