  • Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said Sunday that it's very unlikely 3B Aramis Ramirez (knee) will be activated on April 21 when he is first eligible.

  • RP Kyle McPherson will have his sore right elbow examined by Pirates doctors this week.

  • SP Shaun Marcum (neck) could join the Mets' rotation on April 21.

  • Padres 3B Chase Headley (thumb) could be activated from the disabled list as soon as Tuesday.
