Two years and one month ago, after a particularly bad series, I wrote about the worst defensive outfield in baseball: Rivera in left, Hunter in center, Abreu in right. This is not that anymore.

And my favorite:

There was a year when the Angels had Gary Pettis and Devon White playing in the same outfield. I can't even imagine what that would have been like, but Trout and Bourjos are pretty special.

It'd be even better (for my fantasy team) if Bourjos got more than an at bat a week

So much running. I'm tired.

I imagine this is better than when the Mets had Beltran, Endy Chavez, and [third OF] out there. Unreal.

The Endy Chavez NLCS play remains my favorite defensive moment this century, both for its athleticism and for occurring in a tied Game 7. It was the play little kids imagine making when they're standing in Little League outfields.

Is this the most gifs that have ever been in one BP piece?

Not even close. Blind BABIP test had 18, for starters.

Ahh, I had forgotten about that one. And every other one that had more gifs, obviously.

The Blind BABIP might've had fewer GIF frames though. Each one of these GIF clips runs for about 10 seconds where the BABIP clips were about four GIF frames a piece.

I gotta fever and the only prescription is more gifs! http://goo.gl/P0Gi

...but seriously, BP, gifs add such a great layer to analysis.

Love the gifs. Staring the first one under Saturday, wondering if Trout could've had gotten to it instead of Vernon... could he have?

I think so! Angels outfield defense ruining Angels' outfielders defensive stats

More proof FRAA is weird. Bourjos went from -7.1 FRAA in 2011 to 6.5 FRAA in 2012 with much less playing time.
