Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times writes that White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf says general manager Ken Williams will make the call on whether to trade Paul Konerko and A.J. Pierzynski.

Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun writes that Buck Showalter will interview for the Orioles' manager's job Wednesday and Eric Wedge will get a second interview.

Anthony Andro and Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram write that the Rangers are not afraid to deal within the American League West.

Dejan Kovacevic of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette writes that Ronny Cedeno may stay on the Pirates' bench.

Andrew Baggarly of the San Jose Mercury News writes that the Giants avoid being swept by the Blue Jays and ponder future moves.

Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch writes that Matt Holliday and the Cardinals are escaping the doldrums.

John I think you should participate more on these comment Quick Links. Especially when you can offer insights that others might citicize. The Pirates are an organization you know quite well. You should not shy away from offering your insights and commentary on this organization.
