SIERA in Stat Reports

Just a quick update: SIERA is now available in the Stat Reports.  You can find it by selecting "Pitcher Season" under Custom Reports. 

A sneak peak at the 2009 leaders in SIERA among pitchers with over 150 IP:

  1. Javier Vazquez 2.68
  2. Tim Lincecum 2.73
  3. Justin Verlander 2.79
  4. Zack Greinke 2.83
  5. Dan Haren 2.92
  6. Jon Lester 2.99
  7. Ricky Nolasco 3.04
  8. Roy Halladay 3.09
  9. Josh Johnson 3.34
  10. Josh Beckett 3.34

The Top 5 differences in ERA-SIERA in 2009 (i.e. pitchers due to improve, min: 150 IP)

  3. Chris Volstad: 4.39 SIERA, 5.21 ERA
  4. Cole Hamels: 3.55 SIERA, 4.32 ERA
  5. Jorge De La Rosa: 3.63 SIERA, 4.38 ERA
