DateQuestionAnswer
2010-05-28 14:00:00 (link to chat)How's Daniel Schlereth been faring this season? Does he still have that plus-plus lefty velocity? Do you think he'll be a major league closer down the road?
(Gino Fellino from Anyone seen Bobby Lupo??)
It's been a mixed bag. He's still bringing plenty of velo and missing a ton of bats, but his control has went backwards and he's issuing far too many walks. He needs to straighten that out before he gets to ride the nice planes and stay in the nice hotels. (Kevin Goldstein)

BP Roundtables

DateRoundtable NameComment
2009-06-09 14:30:002009 Draft CoverageYankees really liked Daniel Schlereth last year and like Brothers this year, a similar type of arm. They also have been heavily tied to Heathcott, as KG pegged in the mock, and California OF Brett Jackson. I'd expect Stassi to BOS and Heathcott to NYY. Either team could peg Brothers, though. (Kiley McDaniel)
