BP Chats

DateQuestionAnswer
2011-08-10 13:00:00 (link to chat)Is there any hope of Trey McNutt materializing into a decent mid-to-top of the rotation SP? Is he the only notable SP prospect in the Cubs system?
(Matt from Chicago)
Sure. I think staying in the middle-of-the-rotation is more realistic, but I'm a fan of his stuff. (Jason Parks)
2011-04-18 13:00:00 (link to chat)Chances that the Cubs' Robert Whitenack is this year's breakout prospect, like Trey McNutt last season?
(JoshT from California)
Very low. More of a future reliever with a really good breaking ball. (Kevin Goldstein)
