2008-06-06 13:00:00 (link to chat)Kevin, thanks for the chat. How do you think my Mets did so far?
(Howard from Ridgewood NJ)
Even though I'm not a huge fan of the Ike Davis pick, I like a lot of stuff afterwards. Havens is a nice pickup who could move quickly as a 2B or get used as a C. Holt has a power arm, Rodiriguez has a lot of ceiling and I like Ratliff's bat. It's a pretty solid group. (Kevin Goldstein)
2008-05-21 13:00:00 (link to chat)Any chance that Brett Wallace or Ike Davis get drafted in the Top 10?
(DV from Scottsdale, Az)
Wallace does have a chance, as the White Sox are on him hot and heavy. Ike Davis is definitely NOT going in the first ten, and only might be a first-rounder. (Kevin Goldstein)
2008-05-05 12:30:00 (link to chat)ASU's Ike Davis: Chris Duncan 2.0?
(Mike from Philly)
I know where you're coming from, but I think you have to give Davis some credit for clearly being more athletic than Duncan, and he has that arm from the outfield that Duncan doesn't. Offensively, I could see that being a decent comp, without knowing Davis' specific LHP/RHP splits. (Bryan Smith)
