2016-09-08 19:00:00 (link to chat)Do you see any of the following playing meaningful roles in the mlb in 2017: Rio Ruiz, A Knapp, Micah Johnson, A Toles?
(DB from Pgh)
I'm going to say no on Ruiz, Knapp and Johnson, but I firmly believe that Andrew Toles, who has already shown his value as a righty-masher for the Dodgers, becomes a quality platoon outfield for Los Angeles moving forward. If you're looking for the next platoon specialist like Matt Joyce or Danny Valencia, this is your guy. (George Bissell)
2016-09-26 20:00:00 (link to chat)Andrew Toles looks pretty dang good. What do you see?
(Cole Whittier from Pasadena, CA)
Andrew Toles looks really good to me. It's hard to tell if he'll have a starting gig next year given the Dodgers' resources and outfield depth, but I think he'd perform well if given the job outright or if he ended up on the good side of a platoon. I think he's legit. (Scooter Hotz)
2014-06-24 13:00:00 (link to chat)How long can Andrew Toles be held out of game action just because his manager didn't think he hustled enough? I see no report of an injury, and it just seems like he's been on the bench for a month and wasting valuable developmental time over something petty.
(Barry from Tampa)
I believe it had to do something with a "Willy Mays Hayes" type catch. However, the organization believes they're teaching him a lesson. To be fair, he's a long shot type prospect anyway. (Jordan Gorosh)
