2017-07-31 23:00:00 (link to chat)If I remember correctly, Carter Kieboom got some consideration for the Midseason Top 50. Could you give some more details on his s outing report and profile?
(Buff from CO)
Yeah, if he hadn't shredded up his hamstring it's even money he would've made it - he was on the back end on a couple early iterations as was. Very good command of his physicality, direct swing, all-fields hitter with some pop, solid-average across-the-board offensive skills. Borderline as a shortstop, though he's got some quickness and arm strength for the left side. (Wilson Karaman)
2017-07-06 12:00:00 (link to chat)Carter Kieboom was in consideration for a top-50 slot? What's changed with him?
(Andrew from DC)
He was. Basically he got hurt. So the track record is just shorter. He was also on various iterations of the list, and would be in the next 10-15. I know these become boring answers but it's what happened. (Jeffrey Paternostro)
2017-06-27 20:00:00 (link to chat)Purely Fantasy - Carter Kieboom or Bo Bichette. Or is there a better up and coming SS?
(Bradley from Chicago\)
Bichette, but neither is a particularly good bet to stay at short. (Jarrett Seidler)
2017-05-15 17:00:00 (link to chat)Who is the better prospect for fantasy, Bo Bichette or Carter Kieboom?
(cracker73 from Florida)
Bichette has more of a ceiling but I still like Kieboom better, even in fantasy. (Mike Gianella)
2017-05-02 13:00:00 (link to chat)Deep Dynasty League, keep forever, 200+ prospects rostered - Who'd you rather have right now: Anderson Tejeda or Carter Kieboom?
(Eric from Barrie)
Tejada for me. (George Bissell)

(Ed from Toronto)
Bichette (George Bissell)
2017-05-02 13:00:00 (link to chat)Carter Kieboom - a top 25 prospect by the end of the season?
(Ben from DC)
Probably not. Check back in June. (George Bissell)
2017-05-02 13:00:00 (link to chat)What kind of potential does Carter Kieboom have? Future Stud?
(Dan from DC)
Lots of Kieboom questions. He's 19-years-old and has played 56 games as a professional. I'm waiting for more data and scouting reports before labeling him a "future stud." He's years away people. (George Bissell)
2017-05-02 13:00:00 (link to chat)Carter Kieboom or Andrese Gimenez for fantasy long-term?
(Max from (DC))
Kieboom. (George Bissell)
2017-05-22 23:00:00 (link to chat) For purely fantasy - Carter Kieboom or Bo Bichette?
(Seth from NYC)
I'll take Bichette because I'm a sucker for violent swings with violent results. I like Kieboom a lot too though, wrote optimistic things about him pre-season. He just sustained what sounds like a fairly significant hamstring injury, unfortunately, which'll likely knock him out for a while. Bummer given the early groove. (Wilson Karaman)
2017-05-18 13:00:00 (link to chat)For purely fantasy - Carter Kieboom or Bo Bichette?
(Seth from NYC)
Man, this is well within the fudge factor for me, both potential plus offensive forces, both probably not shortstops long term, it might come down to ultimate positional home, but I think I'd take Kieboom's bat at this point. Might change my mind in a week though. (Jeffrey Paternostro)
2016-11-11 13:00:00 (link to chat)Speaking of NL East shortstops, do you have any insight on Carter Kieboom? It seemed like no one thought he would stick at short pre-draft.
(Andrew from DC)
I don't know that 40 games in the complex changes the long term profile much. I like him, love the swing, think he can get to double-digit home runs, but that's not amazing if he ends up at third. If I was more certain he was a shortstop long term, he'd be higher on the Nats list, but these things take time to sort out. (see Cecchini, Gavin). (Jeffrey Paternostro)
