Tool Future Grade Report
Hit 40 Starts with an open but wide, athletic stance, hands are quiet. Front foot steps out and front shoulder pulls out significantly, making it tough to hit velo away. There is some loft and bat speed in the swing, but the bat struggles to get to pitches away. Follow through is stiff. Susceptible to good breaking stuff and velo. Heavy amounts of swing and miss both inside and outside the zone. A lot of work to be done with swing mechanics.
Power 55 Above average raw, is able to get to it when he connects with mistakes. Mostly pull side with some ability to drive the ball to center. Frame is still filling out, with chance for plus raw power, but that will probably not show in games.
Baserunning/Speed 55 Decent running speed comes from overall athletic body. Acceleration is okay, but only enough to swipe 10-15 per year.
Glove 45 Struggles decently with taking routes in general, and struggles severly with balls over his head. The hands are solid, and allow him to complete plays when he gets to the spot, but getting to the spot is the battle for him.
Arm 55 Above average, not necessarily a cannon, but can get the job done in right. Throws are mostly accurate. Only knock is that the former two-way player goes through long pitching motion to delivery throws.
Overall

An excellent competitor who loves to swing hard, hustles out every play, and frequently showcases his arm, Casey would have a chance at finding his way into the organizational rankings if it weren't for his insane swing-and-miss problems. This will really hold him back from reaching his above-average raw power, and will be a big test at the upper minors. The tools are enough for a third outfielder at the major league level, but how Casey resolves his swing and miss will determine how far he goes.
