Pitch Type Future Grade Sitting Velocity Peak Velocity Report
Fastball 50 90-91 93 89-94 (90-91) w/ sinking FB. Repeats delivery well and fills lower parts of the zone in some sequences. Occasional bursts of late, darting sink down in the zone; limited margin for error; found barrels over the plate in this look.
Slider 45 78-80 82 Thin-frame guy w/ long arm in the back; has trouble getting power spin on SL. Three-quarters breaker; looser early-showing break. Lands for strikes in best sequences; SL finishes as a fringy-but-playable pitch.
Changeup 50 81-82 83 Best CHs were better of two secondaries this look; when he keeps his arm-speed up in the front the pitch flashes late turnover action down and away from LHB. Inconsistent finish--releases more deliberately w/ slower arm at times, casting the pitch and making it float over hittable parts of the zone.
Control 50     Clean delivery can fill the zone w/ three pitches in best sequences. Starter look to strikethrowing and control. Needs to be able to pitch backwards and land secondaries to play up borderline stuff.
Overall

Tall, lean strikethrower w/ borderline velocity and fringy stuff across the board. Occasional flashes of the control/command needed to fit ML starter profile. Low ceiling arm.

Ceiling: ML #5 starter/Long Relief
Realistic: Cup of coffee emergency filler; upper-ORG depth
