The major-league offseason can be a trying time for baseball fans. We all have to endure several months without a Christian Yelich home run, a Ronald Acuña stolen base, or a new PitchingNinja gif from last night’s game. The good news is that there never really is a time during the year without any baseball at all. In fact, there are professional baseball seasons in full swing right now.

This is also a good time to let you know that Baseball Prospectus will be providing coverage of the various Winter leagues this offseason, with twice-a-week updates on the players, game, and standings. Let’s take a look at each league and how to go about watching and following them.
