2023 SABR Analytics Conference Research Awards: Voting Open Now!

Let's not beat around the bush: I beat Sam (by a point) and Scott371970 won the whole thing (by two hours). Full results can be found here.

The average entry scored 16.2 points, which I believe is the worst average ever. It's a result of the underdogs winning 15 of the 32 pairs, including the biggest underdog: in-season GM changes x 2, taking down in-season managerial changes. There weren't even any ties, which is disappointing.

I certainly plan on running this contest again next year, and would appreciate any and all question ideas in the comments of this post.

Not sure if I'm more troubled that Ben crushed you last year while I lost this year, or that the readers somehow favored me more than they favored Ben. That's insanity. Ben's so smart!
17 points! I'm above average!
