Three games were postponed due to rain on Wednesday. Seems fitting to have an abbreviated post today in their honor.

Let's get to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Jason Giambi, Cleveland Indians – 22.52 seconds [video]
Giambi's first home run as a member of the Cleveland Indians. Mostly, though, I just enjoyed how pretty it looked sailing into the night sky at Progressive Field.

Slowest Trot: Nick Swisher, Cleveland Indians – 24.01 seconds [video]
Swisher's blast also looked gorgeous in that night sky. It's possible that this trot could have been a tiny bit slower, as judging which foot precisely touched home plate was a bit difficult. The next slowest trot was from Freddy Galvis, who came home in 23.02 seconds for the Phillies.

In Baltimore, Adam Jones stopped at second on a home run that was later reviewed. As is always the case with these interrupted trots, his time does not count.

Quickest Trot: Everth Cabrera, San Diego Padres – 17.56 seconds [video]
"On Hello Kitty night, Everth Cabrera says 'Me-ow!'" – The San Diego announcer after Cabrera hit his second home run of the year (tying for the Padres team lead) and gave us one of the quickest trots of the season so far.
