We'd love to have you here in Pittsburgh!

Oakland again this year?
joechris96

Probably not this year. We're trying for San Francisco instead.

Will there be an All Star game edition again this year?
joechris96
2/06
That is the plan...especially since many of us are based in New York

I assume this list is provisional? More to come?

Yep, R.A., there are quite a few more events to come once the dates are sorted out.

I love love a meet up with Parks and the prospect crew prior to the futures game

Looking forward to the Seattle event. If any BP staff need help with hotel/restaurant stuff, I work for a national chain that has three locations in downtown Seattle and would be happy to make a few calls/emails to get you guys a good place to stay! It's the least I could do after all the endless content I've gotten from BP.

I hope a stop at the Trop is on your itinerary again.

At Miller Park, you're guaranteed a game and 37,000 people who will listen to anything after tailgating for three hours pregame...

Need to add some minor league stops...

Just a look ahead for those asking...in addition to those already on sale, we will be planning events for Minnesota, San Diego, Baltimore, Washington, Kansas City, San Francisco, and New York (most likely around the All-Star game). So keep an eye out for announcements!

So no Toronto, eh?
joechris96
3/17
Not sure if you saw the Toronto announcement a few weeks ago. We tried, but they declined. Since we now have a friend in the Toronto front office, we're going to try again :)

I heard (twitter) that a certain one-time BP contributor joined the Blue Jays front office. Did not see any other announcement.

But thanks for the update.

I asked the Google, but was unable to find out which staffer is moving to Toronto--who's the new employee?

And congratulations to him or her!

Ha...that was good. It's Dan Evans

I'm pretty pissed that the Jays front office declined this. Toronto has one of the largest online presences and there is strong demand for a BP event here. Rest assured, we appreciate your continued efforts to make an event happen here and we won't take this lying down.

We're still trying. Haven't given up yet. Just waiting for some things to come down a bit with the draft on the horizon.

Arg. Fenway?
joechris96
4/07
We've tried Fenway, but getting affordable group tickets is next to impossible and we'd most likely have to host the event in a location outside of Fenway.
oloughla
4/08
Fair enough. In that case, there are a ton of bars near Fenway that would probably work. Landsdowne Street, Kenmore Square, etc.

Any chance of coming to Tampa?
joechris96
4/22
We did the last two years, but the turnout was very poor. It's hard to run the event when you can't get enough people to attend.

I am shocked that you have trouble getting baseball fans to go to an event in Tampa.
BarryR

They probably didn't know where the ballpark was. Why should they be different?

When will the Kauffman Stadium tickets be made available??

Do we even have any info on this event? I have been waiting on this too.

They will be on sale next week.

What happened to the Target Field event?
joechris96
6/01
We had to cancel it. There wasn't enough interest to meet the minimum requirements to hold the event.

Any update on the NYC event?
joechris96

For All-Star week? We should have all the details within 2 weeks. The events will be on All-Star Tuesday, the day of the game.

Quick procedural question: I am going to buy a ticket to the Kansas City event, but I am waiting to hear from another person if he can go. Are the seats assigned as soon as I buy tickets or can we still be seated together if I buy his later?
joechris96
6/21
We don't give out the tickets until the day of the event so you'll be fine. Looking forward to having you come out.

It seems that every team has been asked about except for the Colorado Rockies. Which makes sense because the Rockies can't do anything right.

Any plans for a Denver visit anytime soon? It's a wonderful city. And BP writers can sleep in my home and be treated a wonderful Southern style bed and breakfast. Free of racism, of course.
