The weekend is almost here (right?). Let's get right to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Adam LaRoche, Washington Nationals – 24.18* seconds [video]
The Nationals are really destroying the ball right now. In Wednesday night's game, the Nats hit six home runs as a team – for the second game in a row! It's only the third time in baseball history a team has done that. To add to that, Adam LaRoche hit his third home run in two nights in the game (and fifth in five games). Don't be surprised if LaRoche ends the season with 35 home runs and 110 RBIs (and a good share of the MVP votes).

Slowest Trot: Miguel Cabrera, Detroit Tigers – 25.29 seconds [video]
Cabrera takes this top spot for the second game in a row. At least this time it was with a much more normal 25-second trot. The next slowest trot was nearly a second quicker from Baltimore's Mark Reynolds.

Erik Kratz hit a home run for Philadelphia, but his trot time was unable to be recorded thanks to the lone video feed cutting away from Kratz before he touched home plate.

Quickest Trot: Bryce Harper, Washington Nationals #1 – 18.32 seconds [video]
It was just last week when Bryce Harper had the first multi-home run game of his career. His nearly 20-second trot in each home run saddened me. On Wednesday, he had his second multi-home run game. The trots weren't quite top 10 material, but they were nice to see, especially the one that gave him the day's speediest trot.

In St. Louis, Cardinals' pitcher Adam Wainwright got on the board with his first home run of the year, trotting home in 19.77 seconds.

Starting Pitcher versus Batting Hand>>> Sort name ascending >>> AJ. Burnett Runs = 2 versus LHB??????

Hi, sgtvane. According to our stats crew, we no longer publish ER/R based stats based on batter handedness -- the short explanation is that because multiple batters contribute to scoring runs, it's impossible to attribute runs based on batter handedness like that. We hope that helps answer your question.
