How has Bryce Harper not hit a home run yet? It's been two days! I want to see his major league trot. I guess we can just safely write him off as a bust then, huh? So sad.

Meanwhile, plenty of other big leaguers cleared the fences yesterday. Let's get to those trots!

Home Run of the Day: Todd Helton, Colorado Rockies – 26.01 seconds [video]
So it's not perfect. In Baltimore, Wilson Betemit's home run actually won the game for the Orioles. And even in this game, it was Helton's teammate Carlos Gonzalez who kept the Rockies alive in the tenth. In fact, the Rockies went on to lose the game, Helton and Gonzalez heroics aside. It doesn't matter. Helton hobbled up to the plate (because Helton hobbles everywhere) in the bottom of the eighth as a pinch-hitter and down four runs and tied the game with one swing of the bat. That's excitement, and everyone at Coors Field on Sunday could tell you that.

Slowest Trot: Todd Helton, Colorado Rockies – 26.01 seconds [video]
Not that this is surprising in the slightest. The second slowest trotter on Sunday was Detroit's Prince Fielder, who made his first voyage around the bases since April 7.

Quickest Trot: Chone Figgins, Seattle Mariners – 18.17 seconds [video]
It was Figgins' second home run of the season and his second leadoff home run. Also in this game, Edwin Encarnacion hit his seventh home run of the year. That places Encarnacion tied for third in the American League, behind Josh Hamilton and Curtis Granderson.

Now would also be a good time to mention that Miami Marlin Giancarlo Stanton finally hit his first home run of the season. He did not, however, hit la máquina jonrón in the process. Stanton rounded the bases in the fourth quickest time of the day.
