Still dealing with the Harper Hangover. Let's get to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Matt Kemp, Los Angeles Dodgers – 22.02 seconds [video]
This game was all about Bryce Harper. His much heralded debut. His first career base-hit (with a pair of fans mooning the camera in the background). That laser of a throw from leftfield into the plate (that really did nail Hairston). His sac-fly in the top of the ninth inning to give the Nationals the lead. But then it was nothing about Harper, when the best player in baseball stepped up in the bottom of the tenth inning and crushed his eleventh home run of the year over the centerfield wall. I guess we can forgive Kemp for his a-bit-over-the-top walkoff celebration.

Slowest Trot: Chris Davis, Baltimore Orioles – 25.9 seconds [video]
A monster fly ball directly down the foul line that towered well above the foul pole. With the amount of time it spent in the air and because of how close the ball came to being either fair or foul, Davis was pretty slow down the line. It's one of those flyball where everyone just sits and stares, waiting to learn if the ball was fair or not. Even considering all of that, a 25.9 second trot seems a bit slow for Davis.

Quickest Trot: Curtis Granderson, New York Yankees – 18.28 seconds [video]
At this point, it is not surprising whatsoever when Curtis Granderson hits a home run or tops the Quickest Trots list.

This type of article really doesn't cause many comments, so I figured i'd chime in that this is still one of my favorite articles to read on a daily basis
