Are you ready for some football? Sure, there might be a bit of anti-football bias around these parts, but you won’t find it from me. I know that a lot of you are fans of both, so if you’re getting ready for your fantasy football draft, I’m proud to announce that I’ll be partnering with SI.com again this season to do injury reports on Thursday and then the “Last Minute Med Check” on Sunday morning. My first column, a look at the injury concerns among the Top 100 fantasy players, is up now, so check it out. I’ll also be partnering with our friends at Rotowire.com on Tuesdays to look at injuries.
As for the fighting part, well, it got really ugly in Dayton last night. While Ryne Sandberg was away, his team flat out lost it as the video below shows:

I’m sure Kevin Goldstein will have more on this, but man, that really escalated quickly … I mean, that got out of hand fast. It jumped up a notch. There were horses and a man on fire, but I did not see a trident.
