Outfield VP returns with a new author, impressive Tout Wars rookie Paul Singman.

Readers, I have the pleasure of introducing you today to yet another new member of the Baseball Prospectus Fantasy team.  Former Outfield VP author Rob McQuown will now be devoting his efforts to keeping things running smoothly on the tech side of the site, so we welcome Paul Singman to replace him. Paul used to write with me at The Hardball Times and, in fact, was the first writer I ever recruited at THT. Greetings, BP readers. As I said in my introduction on Monday, I’ll be writing here at BP twice per week. Sometimes (probably once every week or two), I’ll write a piece like I did Monday where I talk about a trend, run a study, present a new strategy or a new way to use a stat, or talk about some other form of fantasy theory. The rest of the time, I’ll muse about players and what to expect of them going forward. Today, I’ll be looking at four undervalued players who could end up returning quite a bit of value to their owners before year’s end.

The Daily Prospectus: Reset

Joe Sheehan

Bud Selig and his colleagues made the correct decision. Perhaps for the wrong reasons--because the NFL cancelled--but they made the right decision.
