Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.

Lately, a lot of baseball players have been drawing interest. Grady Sizemore has been drawing interest,” for instance. Brennan Boesch drew interest, and Jed Lowrie drew interest, and not long ago Ichiro Suzuki was drawing interest  There have always been baseball players who dabbled in various arts, including drawing, but few have attempted art as ambitious as drawing interest, a non-physical, non-visible concept that is extremely difficult to draw.  (Note: Yes. This entire piece is based on a pretty simple pun. You get it.)

Each player who draws interest does so in a particular way that speaks to his artistic philosophy and personal history. Recently, we collected some of of these drawings of interest, and we now present to you an exhibit of three of them. These players' drawings of interest will likely be on display throughout the month of January and, depending on demand, perhaps into spring training.
