BP subscribers seem to care much more about grammatical mistakes than most other websites. Any reason why? Is it purely the type of customer BP attracts?
Except, the problem with that is that the gas you\'re going to pay to get to TJ Maxx is gonna end up making that $3.00 pair more expensive than $4.50. Just like in baseball, where signing Nelson instead of Proctor ends up generating more value per IP, especially for the difference of 500K.
I\'m surprised the Yankees don\'t make a move for Peavy. They could send Cano, Melky Cabrera and Ian Kennedy for Peavy (and maybe a set up guy). That would save them tons of money during free agency and it would allow them to focus on signing Tiexera, who should have a higher priority.
Or does that deal not make any sense for the Padres?
