Carter stalled this year, posting the lowest Isolated Power of his career (.176), though he had more walks than strikeouts, always a nice sign for a power hitter. He`s an absolutely brutal first baseman, so you have to admire the Diamondbacks for trying him in the outfield. He won`t displace Conor Jackson at first, so a move to the AL is the only way he`ll get his career started.
