The baseball world was still dealing with Hurricane Irene on Sunday, with the Braves/Mets being canceled on top of all the other games that had already been pushed to the earlier part of the weekend. A respectable 26 home runs were still hit across the league, though, including a back-to-back-to-back trio from the Yankees.

Let's get to those trots!

Home Run of the Day: Joey Votto #2, Cincinnati Reds – 22.72 seconds [video]
One of four players to leave the park multiple times on Sunday, Votto was the only one to make his second blast count for all the marbles. This 14th-inning shot gave the Reds a walkoff victory over the Nationals, after Cincinnati tied the game up in the bottom of the ninth on a Yonder Alonso pinch-hit homer.

Slowest Trot: Yorvit Torrealba, Texas Rangers – 23.7 seconds [video]
I talk a lot about how certain players have the misfortune of having the slowest trot of the day on a day when the trots are so quick. I'm not sure anyone's a better example than Torrealba here, who didn't even take 24-seconds to round the bases but still wins the distinction of the "Slowest Trot" title. Someone has to be the slowest, but it still seems a shame for Torrealba that it was him.

Quickest Trot: Orlando Hudson, San Diego Padres – 18.0 seconds [video]
Such a quick trot time in the Slowest Trot category usually means that we have a few quick trots to deal with, and Sunday was no exception. Orlando Hudson takes the crown, but Josh Hamilton (18.07 seconds) and Curtis Granderson (18.92 seconds) had really great shots at it. There were four other trots that came in under-20 seconds.
