Ugh. The realistic floor comments always serve as a good reminder that prospects will -- are very likely to -- break my heart. And yet I can't help but keep getting high on their potential.
Thanks for the list, friends. Great work, as always.
Lol! That's just because you're biased and too lazy to go see them in action.
Thanks for playing, Wilson! It's a very interesting and -- I've no doubt -- well-deliberated list.
Why aren't you as high as I am, on my favorite prospects?
I'm calling it here and now: Miracle Mike Zunino will rise from the post-hype dead and be a top-10, sometimes top-5 dynasty catcher for the next 5-7 years.
I gotsta create the Zunino love, since he ain't gettin' any, anywhere.
Loving the Robert Earl Keen reference!
I guess I have to be the one to fart at the garden party and ask the question: Do we think it's possible that Dozier has been using a performance enhancing substance?
Do we think Pedroia will move off 2B at some point? Or is 3B a more likely destination for Moncada?
Dansby, Mallex, and... what's the deal with Braxton? Any thoughts?
I'll second that notion! Nice work!
Damn, I go for funny and then look back and see that Sisco IS on the list. Time to get outta bed.
O's fan here. I am outraged that Jomar Reyes and Chance Sisco didn't make this list. Bwahahahaha!
Great work, as usual, fellas. Thank you for all you do.
Thank you, Bret. Yours is the most fantasy- relevant assessment I've read re: Fernandez. I appreciate the feedback.
What about this Cuban kid, Jose Fernandez?
Love the Fugazi reference!
Wait what? My Orioles have the second best record on the season? How the heck did that happen? I'll be saying the same thing if they win this series. This team is one reason we always say that that's why they actually play all the games and don't simply start the playoffs in April based on who looks best on paper. It'll be a nail biter, if I can stand to even watch.
First year dynasty leaguer here. BP has proven invaluable in my player research. I check the site FIRST THING each morning. I look forward to more and if it gets even better then that will be great.
What is with the use of RIP for a dude who is changing jobs? Has our culture really turned this stupid that we are misappropriating a phrase that no living person is meant to have said to them?
Good luck, Jason, in your work with Cubs. Some franchises certainly seem to have it all.
Your words carry some heavy weight around here. It feels a little bit like a team that is losing its .280 batting, 40 home run per year cleanup hitter.
Will be interested to see how things go now that you are moving on.
