A great trio of quirky entertaining visits to the deep oddities in your writer's minds. Very enjoyable.

Unique content like this is what makes BP worth the annual subscription. Thanks for thoughtful and entertaining articles as well as great baseball insight.

My guess is that he is referring to the chart calculation of +/- for Posey and Ramos. Posey's +/- should be 9 and Ramos 8. They are reversed.

I agree. I'd like to see a chart of actual performance to Pecota projections for every team this year. It provides a good quick review of who is over or under performing expectations. Thanks.

Thanks for the insightful article on an interesting, and timely, topic. As a long time college and MLB fan I don't think I have seen an article that explored the lack of cross pollination among the coaches of the two. Good stuff!

I am really enjoying your Perfect Game articles on NCAA baseball. Good coverage and insight. There is nothing like watching a college baseball game on campus in the spring. Keep up the improved NCAA coverage. Thanks.

I imagine another reason that Nestor Cortez may remind people of Gio Gonzalez is that they both pitched at Hialeah High, a high school that has also produced Charlie Hough and Bucky Dent.

Den Dekker's running catch in deep center field, back to the batter, in the College World Series 4 or 5 years ago is still one of the best catches I have ever seen. It would be great to see him in the majors.

Nevermind. Operator error was identified as the cause.

Earlier today SSSim was a stat available to select on Team Tracker, but I didnt update my team stats at the time. I have gone back to Team Tracker this afternoon and all the SS stats have disappeared from the selection options. Is this a temporary glitch?

I will echo others thanking you for making many of the changes or additions that have been suggested. I am hopeful that adding the SS/Sim value is still on your "to do" list for all the Scoresheet and sim players out there.

Slight typo on Hultzen- he is a Mariner not a Marlin.

Ben Well written and entertaining. I loved the organizational militiaman reference. I appreciate your writing style and unique point of view. I think the breadth and analysis are just fine. No, make that mighty fine!

I agree with the sentiment expressed by SenatorsGuy. This is a great service for subscribers. The type of thing we appreciate from BP but that doesnt get much notice. Great job Joe!!

I echo the comment that it is good to see a Scoresheet focused article. Its tough out there looking for some good insights to apply to the unique game that is Scoresheet. Kudos to BP for including this in their lineup.
