Several batting orders are funny, but at least something is moving in the right direction.
It feels like the first day of spring :)
That explains a lot.
Perfectly agree with this.
I am getting less and less for my BP money. I pay to read quality ideas, not to stream some low-rate audio material; it seems I keep paying for articles about the Yankees, or their stadium, or howcoolmynewphoneis.
The most interesting thing about Prospect Idol was that there were many more interesting articles than usual, polished or not.
Looking forward to next week article about how stupid the 'this time counts' ASG is, and how World Series home field should always go to the league with the team with more rings in history. And the hallowed park, I used to go as a kid, you know.
I can't see myself renewing again (it expires on my birthday: I nice gift I've been making to myself for years).
Blah blah blah..again...how many times has Joe written this already? Waste of space. Instead, what's Christina's take on this year's All Stars, or Jay's analysis, or (dare I say it) Nate's? We get this same article 2/3 times every year, do we really need it again? Nothing to write about the Yankess this week?
Are we even looking at the same website? Not that you will ever read this, but just wondering what you are on about.
Thank you poster for this, numbers!
Joe\'s piece is remarkable in the way numbers are completely missing, is this an analysis or what? Someone could write a very similar article and \'prove\' that Sox, Rays and Jays have much superior bullpens (apart from maybe the Mariano factor, difficult to quantify) and, maybe Jays aside, the other teams in the same division appear to have a much more efficient \"quality decision-making\" approach to team building, youth and salary management.
Honestly I was expecting much more from Joe, this feels like a deadline beating piece of the \"I have to put something on the site, this will do\".
Hopefully this will mean less Will at BP. Anything important in the hockey calendar at the end of July? Fingers crossed.
I perfectly agree with this post, no need to add anything. BP\'s agenda about the steroids era, or whatever it is, or it is not, is spoiling my favourite websites with too many articles that could be of much better use were they about, you know, baseballa analysis. I have reached the point in which, anytime I see a new article by Joe has been posted, I have to worry about opening it or not. I already skip past all of Will\'s articles, I can\'t skip another writer as well.
I sincerely doubt anybody comes to BP to read someone\'s position on steroids; please stay focused on what you do best, which also happens to be what I pay you for. We can find the rest on any other mainstream website.
