The Phillies-Reds game was way worse. The announcers commented on the fact that there were 14 backwards Ks, at least more than half on questionable calls at best. Ron Kulpa was umpiring and it would be a disgrace to see him call another game. He had players from BOTH teams arguing with him. He also blew another strikeout call on Victorino claiming he fouled a pitch that clearly bounced instead. All was forgotten though in the wake of Shane's walk off hit and All-Star voting hoopla. Still, the Hirschbeck calls (i saw highlights on ESPN) were waaaaaaay better than Kulpa's.
