Re: Acuna: Our AAA affiliate moved to Mississippi? ;)
No discussion from the Braves' perspective of what they got from the Rockies?
Thanks again to Baseball Prospectus and the Braves staff for putting on such a great event! :) My Dad and I had a wonderful time, there was a great turnout, and B.J. Upton won everyone "free" burritos (that I completely forgot about taking advantage of yesterday ;) ). Fun game, great people, enjoyable content; well done, all! :)
Yay! Looking forward to seeing y'all there! :)
Whee, look at all the former Braves. ;)
Goodness! Belated congratulations; I've really enjoyed your writing over the years, and look forward to seeing how the Astros fare under your guidance! :)
Instead of HBP, wouldn't the pitch be called a ball (since the batter would have made no attempt to avoid being touched by the ball in the nanosecond it was visible)? ;)
+1 (regarding incorrect usage on "untracked"). Is it really so hard for folks to write "on track" instead?
(My goodness, all the names from the past; have we all really been here this long?)
Best of luck to you, and thanks for everything! :)
The article automatically linked the wrong Joshua Fields. (Did make me wonder what was up with SEA's Fields, though...)
Thanks, Will; I've enjoyed your articles for years and admire your passion for and persistence in discussing the medical side of the game. Good luck in all your future endeavors!
Congrats on 1K, Will! :) Hope everything gets worked out.
No Pepper (except for Joe)
Hooray! Glad to have y'all down here! :)
It's Jeff Schultz for the AJC, not Bradley.
Not to be Annoying Internet Grammarian, but I think Mauer's injuries are discrete (separate) rather than discreet (unpretentious, modest, unnoticeable).
Just as in free agency, Atlanta fails to draw folks away from the coasts. Sigh. ;)
Would Josh Fields have made this list (if he\'d signed)?
And will he sign?
Speaking of Michigan (and desserts), there\'s the Cherry Hut:
Works very well; the recipe is here:
and one can use it on any number of items. :)
(Another Athens, GA resident) See also The Grit, a Southern vegetarian restaurant. Their cookbook is fabulous (and I see that books.google.com has quite a lot of it online, so you can make some of their tasty gravy :) ).
Congrats, y\'all; wonderful news! :)
