It's a shame we can't face Houston every week.

I've enjoyed our reign on the top spot but I fully expect after the upcoming 1 vs. 2 matchup that it will come to an end.

That's the 10th time in 37 games that a Cardinal starter has thrown at least 110 pitches.

One tendency Matheny has shown as a manager is to let his starters keep going when they're cruising.
