If the Rays do pull off a miracle comeback and sneak into the playoffs, they won't be a team anyone wants to face. Despite squaring off with the Rangers and Red Sox in 11 of their 17 games this month, Rays pitchers have combined for a terrific 3.55 ERA.

Anyone who sensed a collapse coming in Milwaukee when the Brewers dropped five straight can safely stop worrying. Ron Roenicke's team was all business over the weekend, pinning 24 runs on the Reds while allowing just five.
