Bill Neukom became the Giants’ managing general partner in October, 2008, with his predecessor, Peter Magowan, retaining a stake the the team. Neukom transferred control of the club to president and COO Larry Baer in November 2011. A group led by Magowan and Harmon Burns had purchased the club for $100M in 1992. Forbes magazine valued the club at $2 billion in March, 2015. Bloomberg valued the club at $1.23 billion in October, 2013.
