A group led by Magic Johnson, Stan Kasten and Guggenheim Partners CEO Mark Walter purchased the Dodgers for $2 billion from Frank McCourt in May 2012. McCourt bought the club for $371M in 2004, a deal which included the team, Dodger Stadium, real estate and training facilities in Vero Beach and the Dominican Republic. Forbes magazine valued the club at $2.4 billion in March, 2015. Bloomberg valued the franchise at $2.1 billion in October, 2013.
