2012-01-26 13:00:00 (link to chat)Why didn't the White Sox call up Michael Jordan? Despite the fact he sucked at baseball, he probably would have sold a lot of tickets.
(Bobby from South Side)
He didn't suck at baseball. You try jumping to the Double-A level after not playing for nearly ten years. Hitting .200 was a remarkable accomplishment. (Jason Parks)
2011-04-13 13:00:00 (link to chat)Greatest baseball player born in Brooklyn? Koufax, Rizzuto, Torre, or Lou Whitaker? Or Michael Jordan?
(mef from Brooklyn)
Jordan. (Jason Parks)
2011-01-03 14:00:00 (link to chat)Call me crazy, but Michael Jordan showed pretty decent numbers from a guy who was randomly stuck into AA. His OBP was almost 90 points higher than his AVG. You think he could've improved if given more time (and not, for some crazy reason, go back to being the best player in basketball?).
(Rob from Chicago)
You are NOT crazy. I actually think Jordan's .202/.289/.266 line in Double-A was an incredible athletic achievement. (Kevin Goldstein)
