2009-02-06 13:00:00	Do you think Pie will emerge in Baltimore,or will he hit like he did in Chicago? (TGisriel from Baltimore)	I have high hopes. The worst-case scenario seems to be a terrific defensive unit out there with Pie, Jones, and Markakis - shades of the Steve Finley, Brady Anderson, Mike Devereaux outfield that helped revive Baltimore's fortunes in 1989. The thing with Pie is always going to be selectivity. If the Orioles can help him on that front maybe he can break through. I feel like 2008 was a lost year for him, one of stagnation. He has more in him than he was able (or allowed) to show in Chi, but stardom seems like a big, big reach to me. (Steven Goldman)
