DateQuestionAnswer
2016-04-14 20:00:00 (link to chat)Do you have a prospect that you are particularly high on but many/most of your colleagues are not?
(Adam from Michigan)
In the AL, it might be Carson Fulmer. I think he could be another White Sox college pitcher on the fast track to the majors as an impact starter like Sale or Rodon. Most of the other owners in my AL-only league were a little surprised when I took him on Saturday, though, with a few other bats still available.

In the NL, I'm not sure if this counts, but I was surprised to get Ian Happ in my NL-only league's minor league draft. 20 minor leaguers were kept and Happ still didn't go until the start of the third round. Most of my roto-playing friends and colleagues like him about the same as I do, or at least they say they do, but the way he fell on Sunday was weird. (Scooter Hotz)
2016-04-14 20:00:00 (link to chat)Please tell me that Jurickson Profar will start living up to his pre-injury expectations soon!
(Hannah from Maine)
I would love nothing more than to tell you that. I'm rooting pretty hard for him. But the time he missed due to injury is almost unprecedented. I have no idea how he'll actually turn out. I selected Carson Fulmer over him in the minor league draft portion of my AL-only league's auction and my BP colleague Mike Gianella took Profar 5 picks later. After the draft, that was the move that I told my opponents I might regret the most. (Scooter Hotz)
2016-04-14 20:00:00 (link to chat)Name 3 prospect hitters that you believe will break out and 3 prospect pitchers that you believe will break out. Both cannot be on BP's top 101 list.
(Bill Clinton from Las Vegas)
Hitters: Cornelius Randolph (I own him in my NL-only league), Bobby Bradley, Christian Arroyo (honorable mention to Dan Vogelbach)

Pitchers: Carson Fulmer, Tyler Jay, Frankie Montas (honorable mention to Franklyn Kilome) (Scooter Hotz)
2016-03-09 19:00:00 (link to chat)Which prospect pitcher do you like the most long term and why? Brady Aiken, Dillon Tate, Kolby Allard, or Carson Fulmer. Thanks.
(fightingmoose from MB, Canada)
I like the ceiling on Tate. Dude can dial it up and if the secondaries are there for him, I could see him being dominant. They all have a shot of being very good though. (Mike Gianella)
2016-03-09 19:00:00 (link to chat)Could you rank these pitchers for fantasy dynasty purposes. Jeff Hoffman, Brady Aiken, Dillon Tate, Aderson Espinoza, Francis Martes, Carson Fulmer, and Kolby Allard? Thanks.
(cracker73 from Florida)
Tate, Hoffman, Espinoza, Fullmer, Martes, Aiken, Allard (Mike Gianella)
2015-08-25 13:00:00 (link to chat)The White Sox system has been a mess for years now. Besides guys like Tim Anderson, Spencer Adams, and Carson Fulmer, is it really improving at all?
(Justin from Chicago, IL)
Well, the depth is still pretty awful, but lets remember that this system didn't have guys like that three years ago, so yes, it's improving. They've done a better job in the draft, they're starting to explore the international market more (Frankie Montas is in that group for me, as well) and these are good things. There's just a long way to go. (Christopher Crawford)
2015-06-08 13:00:00 (link to chat)Which player are you much higher than the industry on and which player are you much lower than the industry on? Thanks!
(sdsuphilip from San Diego )
Great question. The player I'm certainly higher on is Nick Plummer; an outfielder out of Michigan. I think the hit tool is borderline plus-plus, and even though he won't provide a ton of defensive value, I think he can hold his own in the corner.

On the other side of the spectrum, it's Carson Fulmer, and it's not close. Love the stuff, love the fire, hate the delivery and size. (Christopher Crawford)
2015-06-08 13:00:00 (link to chat)I've seen mock drafts that have the Astros trying to save money with their first few picks. Why would they want to save money? They have $17 million, and there isn't the best draft to say the least.
(Justin from Washington)
Boy, it's a good question. Look, if it works ut that they get Alex Bregman, Carson Fulmer and Daz Cameron in the same draft -- yes, that's possible -- then great. But I'd say that's a less than 25 percent chance. If Cameron doesn't make it to them at 37, I don't see another player that makes not taking Bregman or Tucker at pick five worth it. But that's just me. (Christopher Crawford)
