2012-01-20 14:00:00Is Kolten Wong the 2B version of Hak-Ju Lee?
(Today from Tomorrow)
They're almost nothing alike. (Kevin Goldstein)
2011-08-16 17:00:00Which prospect in the minors do you see taking the biggest leap in the minds of prospect rankers in the next 365 days..
(Matt from NYC)
I think Hak-Ju Lee was that guy if you look at pre-season to mid-season. Looking at mid-season 2011 to mid-season 2012, um, err, um, a flier on Chih-Hsien Chiang with Seattle who proves that 2011 isn't a fluke. (Jason Collette)
2011-06-17 13:00:00Rays SS in 2014: Hak-Ju Lee or Tim Beckham?
(Imperialism32 from NJ)
I don't think Beckham profiles as a major league SS. I'll go with Lee (Jason Parks)
2010-12-02 13:00:00Do you see any remaining upside for Blake DeWitt or is he just a very marginal starter at 2B?
(Matt from Chicago)
The latter, I guess. The fact he's left-handed helps, but he's a placeholder until the Cubs sign somebody else, or Castro moves to second when Hak-Ju Lee is ready. (Ken Funck)
2010-07-26 14:00:00Which direction do you see the Cubs going in for 2b once the Theriot era mercifully comes to an end? Please make it end!None of their middle-infield prospects appear big league-ready.
(Matt from Chicago)
Long-term, the idea might well be Castro at 2b, making room for Hak-Ju Lee. But that's quite a way off. I'd love to see them sign Orlando Hudson next year, actually. Bigger question for me is actually this: why is Theriot starting ahead of Fontenot? Isn't that a pretty obvious platoon? (Ken Funck)
