DateQuestionAnswer
2014-09-15 19:30:00 (link to chat)Will Japhet Amador ever have a higher batting average than blood pressure?
(John Niggli from Lagos)
This is unkind. (Ben Carsley)
2014-02-26 19:00:00 (link to chat)Thoughts on Japhet Amador. Any chance he can be a guy?
(Joe from TX)
I'm a noted fan of fat Mexicans who can't field and have a power bat, but I don't think this story ends well. (Mauricio Rubio)
2014-01-29 19:00:00 (link to chat)Would Japhet Amador mistake Craig Goldstein for a pie and eat him?
(Chat Question from Chats)
This is going to be a pie-free chat. Craig is handsome once you get used to him. Amador would probably still eat him yes. (Ben Carsley)
2014-01-29 19:00:00 (link to chat)Who wins in a pie eating contest: Jonathan Broxton or Japhet Amador. I need a full breakdown, for research purposes obvi.
(John Niggli from Lagos)
God damn it I said no pie. Broxton. He looks like a more fierce competitor. (Ben Carsley)
2013-11-25 13:00:00 (link to chat)Top 10 SB leaders for 2014? Hamilton,Cabrera...
(higgsboson from Guelph)
I'd rather watch Japhet Amador take a bubble bath than answer questions like this. (Jason Parks)
2013-10-15 13:00:00 (link to chat)Your thoughts on Houston's Mexican League pickups, Leonardo Heras and Japhet Amador?
(Ashitaka1110 from Houston, TX)
Heras has a chance; can square velocity. Amador is a fat DH only type that I think profiles best as a quad A type than a ML regular. I can see him going back to Mexico and crushing it for the Red Devils. (Jason Parks)
2013-08-14 13:00:00 (link to chat)Japhet Amador. When will someone rescue him from mexico? we need him!!
(liltroy17 from Arlington )
Sorry, bro. I think your ship may have sailed. You're 26 and hitting .368/.419/.693 in Mexico City (36 HR, 121 RBI in 104 games!), but you're also 6'4" and about 330 pounds these days. I don't know what Amador's contract situation is like there, but I'd bet that Mexico City will want more money than is worth the risk for an MLB team to grab him. I hope he gets a shot someday though. (Jason Cole)
2013-07-25 13:00:00 (link to chat)how long till I can expect to see Japhet Amador playing in the bigs? He's the hero we need right now!
(Troy from arlington)
No. He's very fat. (Jason Parks)
2013-07-25 13:00:00 (link to chat)baseball reference lists Japhet Amador at 6'4'' 215 lbs. Accurate?
(liltroy17 from arlington)
No. He's very fat. (Jason Parks)
