Bench somebody so you can get Craig Tatum's bat in the lineup? Ew. That's absolutely the wrong way to go about developing Wieters, because his value is going to be as a very good hitting catcher who can actually catch as well. It's taking longer than most talent observers thought, but it's hardly out of the question that it will come together. (Jay Jaffe)
