BP Annual Player Comments

YearComment
2007 Twenty years from now, we`ll be looking at labrum tears differently than we do now: The diagnosis will be cleaner, the surgery will be better, the rehab will be faster, and, hopefully, the chances of regaining effectiveness will be far greater. For now, torn labrums are all but career-ending. Mori elected to not have surgery and has been rehabbing in Japan since spring training of 2006. He`ll be fighting against an awful lot of history.
2006 Signed away from the Seibu Lions of Japan`s Pacific League, Mori is a longtime set-up man. He`s maintained good strikeout rates, but his last couple of years haven`t been among his most impressive. He may make some noise his first time around the league due to batters` lack of familiarity with him. He should be a step up from Lance Carter, for what that`s worth.
