He's a pretty nice prep bat that could find a defensive home up-the-middle (be it at shortstop, catcher, or second base). He should come at a discount and, given Ryder Jones and his Stanford commit came of the board next to SF, my guess is they are pushing that savings over to him. If that works out, not a bad pair at 25 and 64 overall. (Nick Faleris on the MLB Draft)
