2015-09-09 13:00:00 (link to chat)What have you heard about mariners prospect Drew Jackson? Very good year in Everett.
(John from Seattle)
Really impressive season, sort of came out of nowhere. Say what you will about the Mariners, but they've found some interesting collegiate infielders the past few seasons (Brad Miller, Chris Taylor, etc.) I think utility guy is the ceiling, but certainly a name to keep an eye on moving forward. (Christopher Crawford)
2015-03-03 13:00:00 (link to chat)Best player of the bunch for the next 5 yrs: Nick Franklin, Brad Miller, or Chris Taylor?
(Whatissidgraphsanyway from Your Chat)
Cautiously I will say Chris Taylor, based on PECOTA leavened with my own intuition. But I will be honest, I have no idea. (Rob Arthur)
2014-12-18 15:00:00 (link to chat)What are the odds these players have good careers? Jon Singleton, Domingo Santana, Chris Taylor, Yorman Rodriguez.
(ColeWhittier from Pasadena)
1/14, 1/16/, 1/9, 1/22, respectively (Craig Goldstein)
2014-09-25 13:00:00 (link to chat)What does the Mariners shortstop position look like for next year?
(challenger from columbia)
If I were calling the shots it'd be Chris Taylor but I do think they give Miller another run at it. His ceiling is a bit higher cause he can hit for power, but I think Taylor's empty average might be their best play. (Craig Goldstein)
2014-08-08 13:00:00 (link to chat)Craig, thanks for doing this chat. I've got a fantasy trade question for you regarding a dynasty league. Would you trade Jorge Soler, Trevor Bauer, and a 2nd round pick for Starlin Castro? Honestly, I've got no clue what the 2nd round pick will end up being. It's a late 2nd rounder, and it all depends on who Yahoo adds. My team is in a complete rebuild, but SS doesn't look like it'll be filled until Carlos Correa comes up. My other prospects include Seager, but he could move to 3B, and Baez doesn't look like he'll retain SS eligibility. Chris Taylor is also there, not sure he's the answer though. What do you think? Accept or Decline?
(Fred from Vegas)
My pleasure, Fred. Thanks for coming!

I honestly think I might hold on to your side of the deal. I like Castro plenty and Shortstops are hard to come by but I think you can get by with a Chris Taylor, and Soler/Bauer still have plenty of room to grow. I think Soler contributes by early next season (Craig Goldstein)
2014-06-26 14:00:00 (link to chat)Chris Taylor is having a strong year on paper. Is he a top 100 prospect at this point?
(Matt P from Baltimore)
Nope. Doesn't mean he's a bad player, either. Just means his upside is too limited to crack the top-100. Many useful big leaguers won't make the top-100 prospects. (J.P. Breen)
